Some hot iPhone tips

In our modern lives, it seems that every keystroke saved is worth a million dollars . . .

LOL . . .

So here are some hot iPhone tips to help . . .

NOTIFICATIONS

You pick up your iPhone and there is a notification, such as an sms or an appointment.

To access this, I would use the slider at the bottom of the screen to open the phone, and only then navigate to the sms or appointment.

Often up to 5 or more keystrokes to get there.

Try this instead, and get there in 1.

Grab the icon of the sms or appointment notification, and slide it to the right.

It immediately opens the phone and opens app for the sms or appointment, showing the correct item.

Works for other apps too.

SCREEN SHOT

Ever wanted to capture what is on your iPhone screen in an image that you can share with others.

For example, like the image used in this blog post?

It’s quite simple to do.

Simultaneously press on the Power button, (top right of phone), and then the Home button, (middle bottom, below screen).

This will take a photo of the iPhone screen and add it to your Camera Roll.

MULTIPLE IMAGE DELETE

It pays to do a cleanup of your devices, (phones, tablets and computers), on a regular basis.

Last week I realised that I had 6Gb of photos on my phone that I didn’t need.

I thought that I would have to delete them one by one . . . So slow. Then I discovered this little trick.

Open your camera and go to Camera Roll, (top left of screen).

Click on the icon with the arrow, at the bottom of the screen.

Click on the images and videos that you want to delete, (they will then be highlighted).

When you do this, the red delete button at the bottom of your screen will become active.

Click on Delete.

Done!

Well, that is quite simple really!
